Aunt Catherine shared this with me. It is very touching and meaningful to me. And so I thought I'll post it here too. It's about Abraham's obedience to God that he was willing to offer his precious son to God. But God did not let the boy die; He was only testing Abraham. Instead, God gave His one and only precious Son to die for the sins of every man in the world as the perfect sacrifice to redeem us. And this is how much He loves us.

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
