Yo dudes, I'm BACK to blogging. Lol. Sorry for not updating my blog for a while. =)
Alright, let's start with my mom's condition. She's been doing comparably well ever since she's been discharged from hospital. No more vertigo. =) And she can HEAR with her left ear now though it isn't hearing as well as her right ear. Mild tinnitus still persists I guess. =( But yup, thank God for her recovery and that there isn't any serious underlying problem!
Okay, next, let's talk about my outing with Shermaine last Thursday. Brought her to Toa Payoh for surprise Lobsters (more like Baby Lobsters...) set meal lunch with Fish Fillet and Tenderloin, because she never tasted lobster before. =) Though the size of the lobsters was a little disappointing, I'm glad that we both enjoyed our lunch in an ambient HDB-based restaurant. Hee... =D
After lunch, we went to Katong area and walked to quite a number of places. The condo that Zuoxin used to stay was demolished and new buildings are now in the process of being erected. The old gaming arcade in Katong Mall is not longer there; the space is now occupied by Cold Storage. There's a new church in the vicinity too. Haha, even the bushes has grown so much taller and denser. (Yes, I'm referring to those bushes across the fence that is near that familiar bus stop outside Aaron's old house in Sea Avenue.) Indeed, much has changed during the past few years.
And so I became a 'tour guide' for Shermaine as we walked from place to place around the neighbourhood which I've spent my secondary school days in. It brought back much fond memories. Really miss those days playing 'Blind Cat' and 'Wrestling' with Aaron and Abner in their room in the old house. And how we used to meet up with Zuoxin, Colin and Li'en for occassional overnight 'SUPPLY' (a modified tag-team-chess game) and for our usual Saturday LAN gaming. We used to play a bit of table tennis and basketball back then too. It was so fun.
Alright, enough of reminicising. Next, I led Shermaine to East Coast Park secretly. Haha, that's because she's never been there before mah. ^^ And we eventually decided to ride a tandem (those 2-seated bicycle) because she refused to let me teach her how to ride a normal bicycle. And I'm glad that (ahem) I'm such a nice rider because I rode steadily and safely. Not nice to let such a nice girl behind me to fall with me if I ride recklessly, right? =)
Hmm... And we settled for dinner in Burger King after an hour of cycling. Yummy! (drooling...)
All in all, I'm just contented that both of us enjoyed the outing and had fun together. =)
Alright, I gonna LOOK for some food now. Stupid of me to mention 'Burger King' just now and suddenly I feel a bit hungry... Oh man, but I'm GROWING FATTER!!! *SIGH! T.T
!HIM!
Strum to the MUSIC!!
